Affiliate Money
- Affiliate Marketing News – Make Money Without a Website?
January 20, 2010 | 9:57 amHi Everyone,
What if I were to show you how to make money using affiliate marketing, and tell you what steps to take, without charging you for the information? Would you listen? What if I summed everything up and gave you direction, so you would be equipped with the knowledge needed to make a legitimate income, even if you don’t have OR want a website? How about in addition, I break down advertising strategies, and tell you how to make the best of internet traffic, so you don’t go OUT of business once you start? Does any of this sound excellent? Well, I am about to tell you FOR FREE how to get a groundbreaking new marketing business off the ground. Even if you are a slow learner and have VERY limited time, I can assure you that this information can allow you to retire from your nine to five lifestyle within your first year of business. All you need to do is learn and apply it.
So let’s start from the beginning. In order to make money online you need three things: The mindset to succeed and not quit. The skills to place knowledge into action. And last, a excellent product or service to promote, so you are not selling junk and building a terrible reputation for yourself.
Well, to have the mindset to succeed, you simply need the passion to do whatever it takes, and it appears that you already have that or you wouldn’t be here right now. So, fantastic.
The skill comes with practice. Once you start DOING it, it starts to make sense. Slowly but surely you can place together a network of affiliate links all across the internet to build yourself a flow of immediate as well as residual income.
Finding a excellent product or service to promote is really pretty simple. You have seen hundreds of scams yourself, I’m sure. Use your instincts. Your gut will tell you what and who is legitimate.
So, let’s get started. Let’s say your long term goal is to build a website that rivals the huge corporations, but there is too much work involved if you are new to marketing. Many people buy a template, fill in the blanks, and call it excellent. After spending a few hundred dollars in pay per click ads, they quit because they haven’t made ANY money. I know, some people have to learn the hard way. You can tell if a site was place together too quick, or if the person has no thought what they are doing. Even if you have a couple affiliate links on your site that would make you money, the sales won’t come in because your site looks cheap. Bottom line.
Here is the excellent news. Technically, you don’t need a website to make money. If you go to Clickbank.com you can register for free as an affiliate. Go through their list of programs and choose an ebook or membership program to promote. Click where it says to make an affiliate link. When it comes up, it should look something like yournickname.thecompanyyoulike.hop.clickbank.net/. Now, you can buy ads and place your link in them to send visitors to the site you are promoting. When someone clicks on this it will send them directly to the company website. When a sale is made on the site, your affiliate link is tracked back to Clickbank and they will send you a check for a percentage of the sale. Clickbank sends out checks to all their affiliates every two weeks. They are the largest “affiliate network” online and act as a middleman to make all financial transactions safe and secure. So if you do that, you will make money without a website, MAYBE. For one, pay per click can be very perilous to a beginner (I will clarify more) and for two, your commissions will only be $20. You know, give or take a small.
There is another problem too. When doing PPC, people want to click YourName.com, not some long ridiculous link. They don’t want another affiliate to make money. So what do you do. You buy a domain name, redirect the url to your affiliate link, and BAM. You have YourName.com. You can do this using GoDaddy.com and they have video tutorials if you can’t figure it out.
So, assuming you have a product to promote, how should you advertise? As far as pay per click ads, I would stick with the well loved search engines, and bid cheap. The best way is to really have different ads in different search engines. Use very specific ad content too, so you have targeted traffic (and you get charged less.) There is nothing worse than having people click your ads that are not really interested in what you are offering. This will result in loss of funds and very few sales. Don’t get into bidding wars either, where you are fighting for the top spot in a certain search result. Everyone clicks on the number one spot out of curiosity. Most clicks don’t covert into sales. It is really better to be number 5, 6, or 7, than 1 or 2. Even if you are 6 pages down because your bid is so low, eventually someone will see your ad. The best part about this is, the person who clicked your ad is TRULY interested in what you are offering, and this will most likely result in a sale. You could make $30 off a $.05 ad. If you were to repeat that over and over, you would become wealthy your first year.
Now I have to clarify that I am speaking of PPC above. If you have high organic ranking that you didn’t pay for, then by all means, get as close to the top as you can. But if you are a beginner, you don’t have to worry about having organic ranking any time soon.
Ad costs keep going up. You won’t even be able to get listed for a $0.05 bid nowadays. They will make you pay WAY more than that or your ad won’t even show. What a pain, right? Yes… but the tale isn’t over yet.
If you don’t have the money to do paid advertising, no huge deal. I have advertised in every avenue know to man. You know what? This is my favorite. Writing articles that give me free permanent links to my website. It takes a while to build traffic this way, but it is VERY effective once you have place in your time. There is plenty of free information available. Anything you don’t know, just Google it, and read what comes up.
Submit your articles manually, or at least do due research. Automatic submission may not always work the way they claim it does. You pay for it. It gets blocked as spam. They keep your money, and you get nothing. They are not all like that, but just be careful what you pay for. I have even used “article submitting software” and it’s not that fantastic. It doesn’t even work on half of the websites so it’s more of a pain than a help. Plus, directories despise auto submission. Just do it manually and everyone is pleased.
I have read ebooks from numerous membership companies that offer affiliate websites. I really bought the memberships and read the information. I have gained vast knowledge through most of them, though some were junk. I’m sure you know that you can get a free affiliate website with the buy of an ebook or whatever from many gurus. They give you a “review” site. The kind that say, “I have reviewed 617.5 websites (like that is even possible) and here are the top 3 ways to make $713.18 a day online. Give me a break. Just because you quote some “exact” number doesn’t make it REAL. The people that get these sites for free and promote them have no thought what they are even promoting, they just want a commission from Clickbank for the sale. Plus they never even reviewed 600 sites in the first place. It is a complete lie.
KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SELLING.
I have much more to share, but I know your time is limited. I could build you an ORIGINAL website that is keyword targeted, and search engine optimized. Plus there are a few more traffic tips and things like that on the website too.
To Your Success,

- Freebie Sites are Better Than Affiliate Marketing for the Online Beginner
January 20, 2010 | 9:02 amIf you are looking to earn money online, you may not realize that Freebie sites provide one of the simplest, surest, and most practical ways to make money online. There is not a monetary investment to make, nor is there a risk of losing money.
For perspective, Freebie sites are a vehicle for part-time money only. You also work with a mentor whom you choose, who typically will help you earn your first $200 to $400 in one’s initial four (4) to six (6) weeks.
The Free Lunch Room is the largest trading forum to learn about Freesites. In fact, you may not realize that Freesites fill a void in the world of online income opportunities.
Freebie Sites Are Not Affiliate Marketing
The average person often has a hard time grasping Affiliate Marketing. Rarely is he given sound guidance on how to build traffic to his affiliate site for the information product he bought — or on the volume of traffic necessary to see sales.
This is a different way of saying that a clear communication on the cost to to be successful is not given.
The typical consumer spends $50 to simply buy an Information Product. He then learns that he needs a domain name and a website to be really successful.
Most shrewd Internet Marketers will communicate that they are providing the Information Product and the Affiliate Website free of charge, or at a reduced cost, because they want the consumer to be successful, and only profit when the consumer profits.
Yet, the domain name and web site must be hosted at a hosting company. This cost is often around a $100 a year.
There is also often a failure to communicate that the free Affiliate Website must be used at a web hosting company where the product owner has obtained “a fantastic deal.” This means that web hosting becomes the Information Product’s vehicle to making money.
There is still the need to get potential purchasers, i.e, traffic, to the affiliate website. The average guy consumer becomes discouraged when he is faced with five (5) or six (6) different ways to drive visitors to his affiliate website. These ways will include one or more of the following:
* Classified Ads,
* Article Posting,
* Traffic Exchanges,
* Safelists,
* Messaging Boards,
* Ad Directories,
* Social networking.
It soon becomes clear that the cost to drive a large volume of traffic is more than what the average consumer anticipated. This is one reason for the one (1%) per cent success rate in Affiliate Marketing.
Freesites Are Simpler Than Affiliate Marketing for the Average Guy to Make Money Online
Freebie sites are so much better than the Affiliate Marketing of Information Products for the average person. There are several reasons this is right:
1. Freesites do not provide the allure of large amounts of income.
The promotion angle of Affiliate Marketing is the opportunity to quit one’s day job, retire and earn $10K a month.
Freebie sites do not make any promises along that line. Instead, Freesites openly communicate that they are a leisure activity, and provide part-time income only.
Freesites are for the person who wants to earn an extra $200 to $2000 a month. It’s not fantastic money, but for the average guy, he is not losing money!
2. Freesites do not involve a monthly financial commitment to drive traffic to one’s website.
Freesites involve working with a small community of folks. Individuals interested in trading in Freesites meet in a virtual meeting hall called a trading forum like the Free Lunch Room.
He or she will find free tutorials in getting started, will be able to post questions and get feedback from the broader community.
When that person is ready to start making money, the individual will go to a special sub-forum where he can review information about different traders and find one or two with whom to work.
At this stage, the individual has not invested a dime! — and, he is about to start earning money as he samples products for pay.
Now, every time this author hears a commercial involving any company like Lifelock, Blockbuster, Netflix, Quality Paperback Book Club, Scholastic Book Club, Wine Tasting Companies, Gourment Coffee Companies, Vitamin Companies or Diet Companies, before accepting the company’s offer to try it free for 30 days, he sees if he can take that same 30 day offer through a Freebie site and be paid.
In addition, your pay is not affected by whether you become a customer or return the product.
Conclusion
- Over 80,000 Folks, Housewife-led
Freebie sites, called Freesites by some, is a small, growing online leisure activity. It is not a business, or a business opportunity.
It simply is an enjoyable leisure activity where one can meet very nice folks who are incredibly supportive. Over 80,000 individuals have traded in Freebie sites like the Free Lunch Room in the past two (2) years for extra income online.
Although the world of Freebie sites is dominated by stay-at-home moms, it is a fantastic vehicle for anyone to pick up a few extra dollars each month. In the process.
The vital thing is that one is earning money from the start and is not investing money, and more money as one often does with Affiliate Marketing and its one (1%) per cent success rate before one sees a return on his investment.

- Can You Really Find Powerfull Free Money Making Websites?
January 20, 2010 | 7:40 amThe word free has to be one of the most overused words in the home business niche. Everyone has a free this and a free that to offer you. So consider this, can you really make money in a free business opportunity.
The small answer to that is, yes you can. Here is how you can do that and we will use affiliate marketing as the business model.Did you know you can join nearly any affiliate marketing program for free? In a matter of a few minutes you can be set up with and affiliate i.d. number that is coded into an affiliate website.
You promote this affiliate website and whenever you make a sale you earn a commission. Your cost to do this is nothing but the time it takes you to promote your free affiliate website.
Before you reckon you have died and gone to heaven there is a couple of things you should know.
1. Getting traffic to your affiliate web page for free is harder than it sounds. You will have to work hard and master traffic generation methods such as classified ads, article marketing, forum marketing, blogging and so on.
2. Using the affiliate web page given to you by the merchant you are representing is a hard way to make money. If everyone is selling the same product with the same affiliate web site how do you make yourself stand out!
3. A person needs to be followed up with over and over before they buy. This is right both online and off line. Very few people buy much today without thinking it over.
If you promote your affiliate website you are sending traffic to a page that gives you no way to follow up in the future. Your visitor comes to your page, looks it over, and leaves. You have wasted your efforts for nothing.
So how do you get around that? You make your own web site and send visitors to it. You make a landing page and capture names and email addresses into and auto responder. This is known as building a list and really does work.
Another thing you can do is make a presell page where you give a personal testimonial on the product you are selling. This will help you make more sales than the competition who is using the same ancient affiliate sales page.
So as you can see even affiliate marketing can go from being free to costing you a small bit of money for website hosting and an auto responder. This is still a very small cost compared to setting up a traditional business.

7. Get to Know Your Audience and Customer
The most successful way to use affiliate programs is to anticipate and meet the needs of your readers. Consider what are you providing that they are looking for and why they coming? Make sure the affiliate products you are promoting provide a solution to your audience’s problems. The more relevant the ads are to your readers, the more likely they will use them.

If they sense that you are being less than honest about your affiliations, they are savvy enough to bypass your link and go directly to the vendor just to avoid giving you referral credit.
9. Try Different Programs and Select Carefully
If one particular program doesn’t seem to be working for you, try another one. Take the time to go through all the different options for products or services available through the programs. Place some thought into which products or services your readers may need or like. Also, change the ads around often, try different ones, and use different graphics and text to see which are the most effective.
Affiliate programs don’t look the same. They offer different products, services, and payment structures. Some programs will have a lifetime payout on sales while others will limit it to 30-90 days. Some programs allow much more flexibility in the types of ad units available, as well as colors and design so it fits better on your site’s layout. Also, check your favorite vendors to see if they run their own affiliate program.
10. Write Timeless and Relevant Content
If visitors come across your older content first, and find that it offers dated information, they will leave straight away. Of course, information moves forward, so relevant content changes quickly. You can make your content timeless simply by adding links to your updated articles on your ancient ones.
Many platforms allow you to show “most recent” or “most well loved” or “related articles” on every page, so no matter how ancient the article is, it will always show access to your new ones. Your ancient content can make money for you indefinitely.
Keep up to date on the latest offerings of your affiliate programs. New ad units, advertisers, and tools are constantly being added to improve usability and be more visually appealing. Small changes go a long way in motivating action by readers. You may be left out in the dust by being complacent with your strategy.
